Bathroom 3D Planner Flash/Flesh/Air

Main description The goal is create a Flash/Flesh/Air (or similar framework) application to create a virtual bathroom in 3D. The steps for the user to create the bathroom are: - Select room dimensions. Can start from a predefined shape (Square, semi-rectangle) or from zero. - Create (from a 2D top view of the room) the walls of variable length and height. - Insert predefined or custom size windows and Doors to the room. - Insert predefined bathrooms objects (bath, sink, lavs, basin, toilet, mirror,etc…) - User apply different textures or colors to the objects in the scene, the user can choose in the insert time this options or change it later. - Move a 3D camara freely in the virtual bathroom (3D Controls), and take snapshots in graphic format or print the actual view. - Save (as)/Load/Delete/ the “project”. Detail functions: The user can change the texture and color for the objects in room (walls, doors, windows and bathrooms from a predefined library for each object, Example ( Different wood materials for doors, colors for sink, etc). Walls can have two textures, for example 50% of height title 50% painted or other texture. Objects can be place in different heights, can be semi-freely placed in small/medium steps dependeing size room. User can rotate or move the bathroom objects, and if near a wall the program “stick” the object to a wall. The bathrooms objects are classified by Family and category, one object can exist in two different Families and/or categories at the same time, but is the same object. family category names can be in various languages. User can select a language, developer provided a easy way to translate msg’s to other languages, via a xml type file, database table or other easier way.. (the applications have small text parts, Toolbar buttons, and names of objects colors and textures) Other functions and requirements: Must exist a easy way to add/remove bathroom objects to the program, developer must cover this point, with a tool or a documented way. If program is file based or database driven is developer choice We provide the bathroom objects in 2D AutoCad Format (500 objects), developer must create the 3D from this files, see attached file examples, measurements are in eu. metric. A small part of objects are already 3D. Developer provided a variety wood, stone, glass, titles and other typical textures to apply to common 3D elements ( door, window, floor, wall, etc..). During development developer must provide demo/trails of work in progress. Structure and clean source needed for future improvements.
