application to read and procced emails

I need a program that will recieve a POP3 email account details and do the following: 1) read the emails from the account and for each email: 2) gather the URL' that are in the emails 3) for each URL - check if it contains a string, for example "register" 4) if it contains it, run an http-client to get that URL. that's it, this program should emulate someone clicking on a link of a validation email, nowadays lot's of registrations procces's use email validation and i have mass accounts i need to verify. on step 3 or 4, it is also fine for the program to http-get all the URL's in the email, but it'll be better if i could filter them using a string.
