I have some web browser based software which monitors Amazon stock & Price changes, it also allows me to record my eBay items in there & manually enter my selling prices – It then works out my total earnings minus eBay & PayPal fees & allows me to export them to CSV for accounting purposes…. This job consists of 2 tasks: Task 1: • Tidy up current software – it’s a little buggy at the moment • Add eBay integration – this means you will need to set the software up to “Cron Job” • Make the whole thing a little more ‘user friendly’ • Currently the software is set to use eBay & PayPal UK fees, I would also like the option to run it with USA eBay & PayPal fees Task 2: I would like to make this software available to multiple users on a subscription basis (must be able to handle around 2500 users at once) • Interface must have a fresh and easy to use admin area (CMS) to manage all subscribed users • I must be able to integrate new eBay accounts into the software in a simple way (1 click integration) or if the ebay user provides me with their user name & password – Maybe you have a better idea of how we can do this? • Users will pay a monthly fee through PayPal to use the services • Users must be able to sign up with their email and gain instant access • I must be able to manually manage free trials & memberships • I need to be able to see when people have paid their subscriptions and when they will expire • I need the ability to view all of my users profiles…contact info e.t.c • I must be able to log into the system as any of the users (for trouble shooting purposes) I have my own hosting. I will provide all the content for the website. The existing software file will only be sent to you once I am happy that you can carry out the work. The first Q's I have is, on what technologies this was built as we need to work out on same to make it run flexible. You are asking for a big User base so need to check the current code as well, like how well it was written.
