Hi everyone.
Ok here is a simple calendar design job (needs to be completed before Monday 12pm UK time).
Job 1
We’ve got 12 photos and each one represent one month. The calendar will be printed in 300dpi resolution on an A3
format and the photo editing needs to be done to a professional standard so once the photos are printed they all look
well edited and are consistent. Basically, when we zoom into a photo we don’t want to see unnatural cuts and pixels
that don’t belong there.
On some photos you’ll need to add shadows (e.g. December photo), on some you’ll need to go through the outlines
of people and make sure the outline looks good and natural (e.g. there are no strange cuts etc.), on some you’ll need
to make the figures (people) fit well into the background.
Job 2
April month. We are struggling with the concept so we need someone to play around with the idea of ‘not turning your
back to someone’ and provide us with two rough ideas. We’d like to review them and then finalise one of them.
Job 3
Calendar layout and print preparation. Once the photos have been edited they need to be placed in a calendar
(ideally in InDesign of Illustrator software). We need someone to use an existing calendar template and redesign it a bit to make it
look more professional (add consistent margins, etc.). Some quotes will need to be added to every month (one or tow
sentences max.) Once all that is done the calendar needs to be prepared for printing.
IMPORTANT
We need all source files. Layers need to be separated.
For calendar design: Please use professional fonts. We were thinking Helvetica New.
Please use a grid for the layout.
For photos: Don’t use necessary filters, strange effects. We are after a minimalistic, professional look.
