Build a online shopping directory

The task is to build an online shopping directory. It should display products from other major online retailers. - Project task list includes: Website layout, development, back-end processing, and database development. - The look and feel should be like a regular shopping website. But, when a product is clicked, the user is routed to the product webpage from the original seller. If the same product is available with multiple retailers, a price comparison should be displayed. - The website should also have a shopping list (similar to shopping cart). User should be able to add items to shopping list. No processing of shopping list is required, other than display. - Developer will be provided with product feeds from online retailers, and a basic website design in images. - PHP or PHP frameworks have to be used for website. Mysql is to be used for the database. - The website should be highly scalable. It should be able to support millions of products. Hence, speed and efficiency are key points.
