Cricket Broadcast Graphics

.Work We need to design a theme for the in-show informational graphics for Channel Ten's coverage of the Big Bash Cricket. I have included a packet with samples of other cricket graphics and three looks that the network loves. This packet also has the network logo, team logos, creative brief for the opener and TVC's provided by another design company that they are working with on that & a little video of other cricket graphic looks put together by a company that does a lot of cricket (so you can get an idea of the various looks that are out there). .Theme Opener, Promos & TVC's will use a Dangerous, Use Caution, Shattered Glass approach to this. Series of big hits with the balls rocketing into the crowds. We don't necessarily have to stick to this in any way but if a creative way to sneak it in emerges then that is fine as well. The overall them is just excitement, danger, big, bold, loud & colorful. At the same time the graphics need to be sleek, modern, & clean. Gloss & Glass & Metal. .Colours/Feel Silver and Light Blue Are the Channel Ten Colours so silver works as a good 'housing' colour. We want the graphics to be very colourful and lively. As in the Fox Sports frames below the graphics are team specific in that the colours correspond to the team logos. The feel of the graphics is very modern "American" Big & Bold with lots of small details in them that can be animated. I have included a PDF of the of the Fox Sports Big Bash Package which Channel Ten loves. The second package is the Channel Ten Rugby which I did earlier this year and has received a lot of praise. The third one is the DirectTV NASCAR package which is also a good example of graphics with lots of depth and little elements that we are looking for. Basically I love to animate these small details to make the graphic feel alive and breathing. Instead of just a boring old info graphic the Network really wants them to be a part of the "Big Bash Experience" So basically you can just go crazy with the look as long as the key elements i.e. the legibility of the stats isn't interfered with we want some crazy shit. .Layouts Needed We need a total of 5 informational graphic layouts. The rest will be developed by the graphics team based off your work. Here are some examples from the Fox Sports package from last year. The background on the full frames needs to be a containment unit that can be used over a wide shot of vision as in the examples below. The game is so fast they never want to cut away to a FF with a background. the ticker can also morph into the super if need be. In these examples it goes into a smaller version when supers play in. Bottom Left Ticker - Team Logo/Runs/Score/Revolving stats bar on bottom Bottom Frame Super - Name/Team Logo/Up to 6 Stats Full Frame Team Scorecard - Title/Subtitle/Team List/Batting Scores/Totals Full Frame Player Profile - Title/Subtitle/Player Photo/Batting & Bowling Stats Over The Shoulder Player Profile - Title/Subtitle/Player Photo/Batting & Bowling Stats .Project Due. October 1st, 2013 We just need a couple of frames to pitch in the onset as the deadline is very tight and we would like to get something to him as soon as possible. Whatever VISUAL CONCEPT can be put together in a couple days should be sufficient to provide the client with a direction to decide upon then we can revisit it to refine the look and move along.
