Audio processing project

This project is to develop a program that takes as input an audio file containing speech and a near-perfect transcription (text version) of the audio. It will produce as output a synchronized version of the audio and transcription text, displayed in a web page. The program will need to run on Linux but can be written in any language you prefer. Audio files will be in either MP3 or WAV format. Transcription text will be contained in plain text format in a text file. Familiarity with audio processing is required. I will provide sample text transcriptions and audio files. Deliverables: 1. Web page where audio file and transcription file can be uploaded. 2. Web page in which audio is played back with text being highlighted as the playback occurs. 3. Program for synchronizing audio and text. 4. Uploading all of the above to my web server, to which I will provide access.
