A consultant needed to support our Electronics Design team on a PCB re-design aimed at eliminating susceptibility to mobile phone interference.
The product is used in an automotive application and contains a class-D audio amplifier which amplifies audio signals from microphones. The circuit is susceptible to TDMA noise and badly picked up (otherwise performance of the circuit is satisfactory). Substantial research has been done and relevant knowledge acquired which lead our design team to identifying number of improvements both in filtering and PCB layout.
In order to have full confidence we seek for a consultant to review the design and verify that sufficient changes have been made and propose further improvements. All design and layout activities remain a responsibility of our team.
Essential experience:
Audio circuit design
Class-D audio amplifiers
EMI and audio interference, especially TDMA noise
PCB layout for audio circuits
Our company is based in Oxfordshire and we would like you to be preferably within 100miles radius from our offices.
You will be required to sign our non-disclosure agreement. Agreed payment will be made only upon completion of the project and is subject to customer’s approval (with regards to absence of the mobile phone interference and overall operation of the audio circuit).
I am professional automation engineer with 34 years of field experience.I am further supported by two electronics engineer of about 25 years experience.
I am aware that I am somewhat out of your immediate vicinity, but I was recently involved in determining the cell phone TDM effect on capacitive sensing chips (Touch screen application). I was able to reach some positive conclusions and implementations and am willing to share these with you, even if it is only to reach a consensus on what the focus of the design should be
