I have several years of advanced experience in Arduino development and 15+ years in electronics/embedded development.
I have several years of advanced AVR/arduino development, including library development from scratch. Also developed several projects in tools from Atmel like AVR Studio and Atmel Studio. Practically all Arduino boards used, like: 2009, 2010, UNO, MEGA, NANO, MICRO, MINI and others like DigiSpark (attiny85) and DUE (ARM Cortex-M3). Several shields used like Ethernet (W5100, ENC28J60, etc.) with various IP protocols implementation, various graphical TFTs with and without touchscreen and various BUS types (parallel, SPI, I2C, etc.), all kinds of sensors and buses, serial and parallel memories, honestly - too much to mention...
I have also used several times DS18B20 and DS18S20 temperature sensors with no problems. I have implemented several PID algorithms in temperature controllers both with the PID_v1 arduino library, and with custom from scratch PID algorithms, including histeresis.
You provided links to a "complete project" on github, so I don't really understand your needs ? Please clarify really what you need to be done.
I'll have no problems implementing this project for you, as long as everything is well defined and specified.
