Hello,
We have an ARM9 based project and need the PCB schematic and board design completed.
The board will need to be 7cm long x 5cm wide and will need to have 6 to 8 layers. All components chosen should be low profile (minimal weight, size and power consumption). The function of the board will be to connect wirelessly (using wifi or standard 2.4GHz TX/RX), to transfer data, and control motor movements.
A small daughter board containing 2 main components will also need to be developed. This daughter board should be minimal in size (~2.5cm long x 1cm wide) and easily attachable to the main ARM9 board. Both boards need to be designed for EMC.
Deliverables:
We need the final schematics, PCB layout, gerber files, 2-3 prototype boards, board testing reports (circuit simulations) and any source code used.
Current project selected components (Main Board):
- Spear 300 333MHz ARM chip (ARM926EJ-S)
- 256MB SDRAM (W948D6FBHX5E-ND - digikey)
- wifi module (450-0067-ND – digikey)
Other necessary components (Main Board):
- MicroSD adapter
- micro-usb 2.0 adapter
- voltage regulators
Main Board Required Connections:
- 10 PWM (3-pin)
- 10 GPIO (1-pin)
- 4 analog-in (3-pin)
- 1 analog-out (2-pin)
- 24 pin gold FC connection
- 2 I2C
- 2 UART
Daughter Board selected components:
- MPU9150 (9-axis IMU chip)
- BMP180 (Barometric Sensor)
Daily updates and file submissions will be expected to track progress and assist where necessary. All work should be done in Altium Designer.
The project will be awarded to the individual who has a proven record of similar projects in the past and can give references.
The payment of the project will be:
- 20% on final schematic and PCB layout
- 20% on proven tested (and properly working) board
- 30% on shipment of the working board
- 30% on approval of received prototype boards
Any suggestions for better components than already selected will be considered.
Estimated time of project is 30 – 45 days.
Bonuses: Two bonuses are available to speedy development and going the extra mile.
An additional bonus will be paid for a complete, functioning prototype board as follows (from the time of the bid being accepted):
• 20 days from bid being accepted: 10% of bid
• 25 days from bid being accepted: 5% of bid
• 27 days from bid being accepted: 2% of bid
An additional bonus will be paid for a complete, functioning prototype board with embedded linux running properly and effectively on the prototype. (1-2 gb miniSD card would be necessary to run linux on prototype board). A report with detailed instructions on installation method and testing of linux would also be required.
• Embedded linux: additional 15% of bid
