The goal of this subproject is to build a online gambling portal. The HTML for the frontpage based on
a mockup and integrate it with Drupal 7. The page has mostly static
data which you can directly store in the HTML template itself. The only
part that needs to be dynamic is the list of games.
It must be possible for a content manager to add new games to the list
of games (this includes storing a screenshot and a title).
The graphical design of the website
has been done by an in-house designer. Graphical mockups will be
provided to you as images.
This project is the first in a series of projects in which we build the
entire gaming portal. We are looking to build a
ongoing relationship with the developer. If you finish the subproject in
a satisfying manner we will give you priority
in the selection for upcoming projects.
## Deliverables
The ultimate goal we have is to build a full featured online gambling
portal. The portal
allows visitors to register for an account, make deposits and play
online casino games in their web browser.
The implementation of the website will be done using Drupal with a
custom theme.
Non-technical requirements include:
- we target IE9, latest Firefox and latest Chrome in this release. You
can use all features of HTML5 and CSS3
as long as the result resembles the mockup in all three browsers.
- use external stylesheets as much as possible as this greatly enhances
maintainability of the website
- use latest version of Drupal 7
It is preferable that you have an online version of the website that you
will deliver, so that we can look into it and give feedback.
If you don't have a web host we can provide you one.
The tasks of this project include:
Building the HTML5 skeleton according to the given mockups
Setting up a Drupal installation
Adding content types for games in Drupal
Creating a Drupal theme/special page using the HTML5 skeleton
Adding the dynamic game section on the frontpage to the Drupal theme
Delivery should include the following:
The entire Drupal installation including a backup of the database
content and the custom theme
