Analyze some Data

I'm looking for a a simple method that allows me to track products from the initial order though the manufacturing process with the use of QR codes.

What I want to do is as follows:

1. Create a QR code from each line of a spreadsheet (Google doc). It includes PO#, Item Name, shipping date, etc.

2. Scan the code and select one of 7 locations. ex. Assembly, paint, QC etc. (via Android app)

3. It updates the spreadsheet to say where it is and date.
