A list of websites will be provided. The job is to find the contact pages of 5,000 websites and select the company name, address, city, state/province, postal code, and phone number and click to insert that data into our custom web application. There is an option to skip websites for various reasons. When you skip a website, that will not be counted towards completed websites. You must complete 5,000 entries to get paid. We estimate that you will have to skip about the same number. 50%. That takes time, but it is a requirement. You must also select the correct skipping reason. All of this is explained in the video. Very little typing is required. It's a lot of: finding the "Contact Us" page, carefully selecting the correct block of text and clicking the appropriate field in the custom form. The web app requires the Firefox browser with the GreaseMonkey extension. It's all here in the training video: [login to view URL] **REQUIRED** Quality is very important. Speed is also important, but accuracy comes first. If you speak several languages, that is a plus. There is lots of international data. If you focus on this job, I estimate that you can do 500 records a day. I can personally do about 80-100 per hour in English for North American websites. US/Canada sites load faster in North America than in other parts of the world, and loading is often the bottleneck. A fast Internet connection will make this project go much faster than a slow connection. There are important tips revealed in the video on how to maximize productivity when you have a slow internet connection. Your first 10 sites will go slow as you get used to the system. I estimate that you can do about 1 site per minute after an hour or two. We developed the application with the data entry operator in mind to make it as efficient and fast as possible for you so that your valuable time is spent getting the job done quickly and accurately. When your bid is accepted, a username and password will be created for you. Your work *will* be reviewed. Please be as accurate as possible. The people who do the best job will be invited to participate in future projects.
