I´m starting a book business and need to make things more automatic in Excel. I already have my files, but need to have macros to save time and avoid mistakes (not sure if working with Mac will become a problem).
In general, what I need is:
1. File A: I have a catalogue of books that is divided into 3 different categories: 0a3, 3a5, 5a8 (representing an age group). With my catalogue of books (that includes the image of the cover, author, etc), I need an easy way to add new books and keep them in alphabetical order. This File will be one source for the other files.
2. File B: This is a file with my client´s information: name, address, phone number, and what books they have received. This has to keep track of previous books so I don´t send them new ones.
If a new book was added to File A, this File needs to be updated.
3. File C: Once the books for each client are chosen, I need a file where that information flows in a table with a "clean design" (that I already have). Including the image of the book, author and summary.
This final table needs to be saved in a Folder (with the name and date of each client), and this will have to go to MailChimp and to Word for printing.
