Data entry of course information from various websites

Hi all

I need to compile a database of iTunesU, Udemy, Youtube and OpenCourseWare activity for the 216 universities in the attached spreadsheet. Freelancers will need to have iTunes installed (free to download from [url removed, login to view])

The task involves filling in eight fields:

1. Is the university is on iTunesU (Y/N) - open iTunes, go to iTunesU in the iTunes store and follow the link on the right to 'Universities and Colleges' - write Y if they are in the list, N if they are not

2. How many courses do they have on iTunesU? - Follow the link to that university's page, find out the number of 'courses', some universities will not have any courses (they will just have public lectures, events, etc)

3. Is the university on Udemy - go to [url removed, login to view], search for the university, check whether there are any courses offered by that university (note that the search always returns something, you will need to check whether any of the results are actually from that university)

4. Number of courses offered on Udemy - count the number of courses by the university on Udemy

5. Is the university on Open Courseware? - check whether the university is in the list here: [url removed, login to view]

6. How many courses are on Open Courseware? - follow the university's link and count the number of courses offered

7. Does the university have a YouTube channel? - self explanatory, visit [url removed, login to view], search for the university, check whether they have a 'channel'

8. How many courses do they have on their YouTube channel? - Visit their YouTube channel and count the number of courses by searching the channel for 'course' and counting the number of playlists that are returned

There are a few examples already filled in the attached spreadsheet.

Please carefully read the instructions and inspect the spreadsheet before bidding to ensure you and understand and can complete the task.

There will be two intermediate milestones, at 10 and 100 universities completed, this is intended to provide ongoing rewards to the freelancer and to ensure the task is being completed satisfactorily.

The suitable freelancer will be an efficient worker with excellent attention to detail.
