I have a simple project which involves developing a Google Chrome Extension. The Chrome Extension works alongside our web application. It needs to have the following features - 1) It gets activated when the user has [login to view URL] open in Chrome browser. 2) When a user downloads any file from [login to view URL], it starts monitoring the file on the user's desktop. 3) If the user modifies the file that is downloaded, it needs to be uploaded back to the server in the background. API will be provided for Step 3 ( file upload ).
