I have four programs that I paid to have written that had been maintained by the programmer in Czech Republic until recently. The last two months I can barely get him to do the updates I've asked and keeps making deadlines that he doesn't keep which has put me in a huge bind.
I'm at a point where I haven't had any meaning full contact with him in several weeks, and it's been longer since he's made any changes for me. The last several contacts was promises to get the changes done over the weekend. Well several weekends have come and gone!
It's sad because I love the program, and the pending changes were version enhancements, etc -- but otherwise the program works great. Now i'm forced to make a decision whether to reprogram from the ground up? Or have someone decompile for me so I can continue maintenance on the program.
Right now, this project is for the decompiling of 4 programs that work as a set. three are about 250k, and one is 50k (the program auto updater). I believe it was written in c++
