Hi. Below is an excerpt from one of my unpublished works.
Android is owned by Google Inc. after acquisition from the original developers, and iOS was created by Apple Inc. Android runs on most smart phone brands such as Samsung, HTC, Techno, Huawei, Sony and many others originating mostly from China and the Far East, while iOS is compatible only with the iPhone. Android devices come in price ranges of all classes, making them more accessible in terms of affordability, arguably the reason why the operating system tops the iOS in the global market.
But then, just like comrades, the two operating systems are found on smart phones and tablets, which are usually touchscreen-operated. Each of the two boasts a variety of functionalities, which are constantly upgraded to suit consumer requirements and demands. Both offer millions of applications available to users, either through downloads or already in-built by the manufacturers. Also, rather coincidentally both happen to be created at around the same time - in 2007, making that year historic in the IT world.
