I work on renovations all the time , I will need some additional info old plans of the house if you have any and , survey is good but I will need it more accurately scanned. Also I will need exact location of the house, so I can see the existing roof and if you know what is the roof structure that will help with the roof that will be added to your home. Most of the times when there is an addition there is a need of structural beams, this is also based on the existing framing of the house. I can give you a solution for the roof but I can not calculate beams. I will need to see more of the plans to tell you if this is the case.
