I need a academic/scientific writer on a FULL TIME BASIS for my research lab located at National Brain Research Centre, Manesar, Gurgaon. My lab works on elucidating diagnostic indicators for brain disorders like Alzheimer's disease with the help of brain imaging techniques. The applicant will need to have a background in basis sciences and be proficient in scientific writing. The applicant will be paid a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 35000.
Minimum qualifications:
• Post-graduation (M.S/PhD) in relevant discipline (Science/Engineering) from a recognized university with an understanding of scientific communication.
• Clear and precise scientific writing style with ability to pay attention to detail.
• Publication experience as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications in relevant fields in indexed journal(s).
• Excellent skills in English usage, grammar, punctuation, and style.
• Ability to understand and effectively review scientific literature.
• Proven team skills and ability to multitask and manage work under tight deadlines.
Job profile:
• Write high quality and scientifically accurate manuscripts related to ongoing research in the lab.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of scientific terminology and proofread documents for sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation.
• Management and editorial assistance with scientific grants.
• Provide intellectual input and editorial support for various scientific documents, including scientific grants.
