Android Browser Button / Tool Project + Payment Engine setup

Build a front-end browser-based application for the [url removed, login to view] service. Use a standard Android browser with enhancements to enable ePrensa-specific features via browser buttons. Enable online payments to ePrensa through the Android payment engine, while sending appropriate information to ePrensa for tracking purposes. See attached document for more details.

The idea behind the browser modifications is to enable the following ePrensa features when viewing news results:

- Send URL via email – GET request to ePrensa send_email script

- Save/bookmark article – GET request to ePrensa save result script

- Web2PDF – POST request to ePrensa [url removed, login to view]

- Back to results- link to return to search results

These features MUST be incorporated into the browser, and may NOT be transmitted from the server as javascript, HTML, etc, due to copyright restrictions.

These features must be compatible with any common Android smartphones/browsers. Ideally, these features would also include versions for the iPhone and Blackberry environments, but this is not required at this point.

ePrensa is flexible as to the solution … in your proposal please give some level of detail as to your proposed solution, how it would affect the end user and also an overview of the type of support you will need from ePrensa (e.g. “cgi script that returns information from a GET request” etc).
