What we need is a quote for the cost of developing the project, plus also a time frame of how long this would take to do.

There will be 5 types of membership:
• Kindergarten – Year 10 – children aged 5-15
• Year 10 – Year 12 – teens aged 15-18
• University students
• Adult past students
• Teachers/Staff
Once logged in, a member can see ALL the High School Colleges, and the events happening at each of the High School Colleges. All members can search for people across the whole the site, they can search for schools, and school years across the whole site, reviewing all Colleges.
• There is a super admin user who can login and control everything
• There are also School President login accounts – for each school, and they can add a lot of content into the site, including events, approve new members, but this only relates to their specific school
Administrators and School Presidents can add in
• Sporting events from the month or week, showing the results and also event photos
• Achieve section of old school events, old past sport events, old school photos

A very similar registration process, once you are in you can add the schools and universities you went to in a similar fashion
4 different types of registration forms that relate to whether you are a
• Parent filling in for a K-year 10 student
• Teen Student
• Past Student – Old Scholar/Boy
• Teacher
Because of the sensitive nature of all the data within the site, people are only admitted into the site who have been approved.
• For children K-Year 10 and also Teachers – they must enter a security code which has been generated by the system and sent to them, this is proves their right to join (even with this they are still checked off by the admin and only then admitted into the site)
• For teens and past students (old scholars) they must enter 3 other names known referring students, this proves they know people in the school and their right to join (even with this they are still checked off by the admin and only then admitted into the site)
• For younger students (children K-Year 10) they must use a school email address to register with the system. It will be this email that the system will send a automatic confirmation email to as part of the approval process
The login and signup has a secure SSL area, and all the above measures to protect the children’s details in the system, can’t allow the wrong type of people to sign up into the system.

Once they are registered members can add details to their profile (not all are relevant to all members, but they are available):
• Text description about their life
• An ID photo
• Details of their profession
• Full CV resume details, including matriculation results, university results, work history
• A personal diary of photos and comments – very easy to add photos
• A family diary of photos and comments
• Show on a page a photo of each year at school, show how the child grows over time, as well as a full list of school year photos
k-10 Students Members Area
Sporting Events Football, Cricket, Rugby, plus others
You just see the time, date and place of the event, people have preferences about their preferred school games to check, so that when they login, they can just click and see the events relating to their chosen sport
Formal and Informal Events – planned school socials, up coming school camps, as well being able to post their informal events, to entice people to attend
Car Pooling requests and offers
Birth Day Parties – being able to post details of the event, and invite members of the class who they specifically want to come
Support Groups – eg new parents posting, looking for support
Financial Services – a system where parents and students can nominate certain products and services that they require, including school fees and have the membership site pay for it. The college is alerted to the student’s desired products and services, and that SchoolTie will pay for it. Every month the tally is done up and SchoolTie pays the College what is owed. An invoice is sent through to the parents with the owed amount.

Births, deaths, marriages – search by date, review and see the latest updates
Formal Events – social events, school dinners, etc
The school president can login and add these events, also load in how many tables at each event, and include details of who will be sitting at each table
An option for members to register for the event, or an option to show a URL link to the schools own web site where members can register for the event
Old Scholar Networking – the ability to search for skilled professionals,
the search is based upon: location (country, state, city, suburb)
Profession type (drop down, and text field)
Ideal School College (plus an option to show professionals from any College)
