We have been developing a website, to allow users (the public) to search for services and products based on geographic availability. It is written in Classic ASP, AJAX, Javascript, and Microsoft SQL. Phase 1 Launch Scope -- Web Display -- English Only -- USA -- ZipCodes -- go Live Timeframe: The goal of this project is to have this site go live by May 1, 2012. UI Categories --------- 1) Search and Display pages -- Target: General Public 2) Vendor Registration and contract entry -- TARGET: Vendors who will select their choices of types of display options, choose geographical display options 3) Sales Contractor Registration -- Target: Individuals from around the country (Phase 1) 4) Miscellaneous pages -- Contact Us, About Us, etc. 5) Template and Database driven web display page -- for Vendors that do not have their own website 6) Web Application Day to Day Internal Appletss functions -- review and approval of Vendor contracts and approval of Sales Contractors for go live, termination of display of Vendor contracts and Sales Contractors access Much of the basic functionality has been developed and is functioning. Some functionality still needs to be completed. Some of that functionality includes setting up interaction with [login to view URL] (rather than PayPal). Some functionality has been improved on various pages over time. Some of that improved functionality utilizing AJAX can/should be added to additional pages, which were developed prior to adding the AJAX functionality for the in-place updating of content for dropdown lists.
