UI Design for Multiple Choice Test iOS App

Contest Brief

Very simple multiple choice application for iOS (iPhone only, no iPad). The app is a tool to help passing the USA Citizenship Test. Total of up to 20 screens. Additional screens, if needed, will be paid extra.

We are looking for a trendy looking app that pops. The design should follow the latest trends in mobile UI design. Most screens are very simple, with the exception of the progress screen that could require a few rounds of adjustments. Please take a look of the screen shots from Xcode. The screen shots show all the screens. They were created purely for functionality testing, the designer is welcome to change the look of each screen.

Requirements:
1. The design is to be submitted in sketch, with all the fonts, and other assets included. Adobe XD is acceptable also.
2. All included assets must come with full rights.
3. The design must work on larger screen devices like iPhone X Max, iPhone X, but also on the smallest supported size which is the iPhone SE/ iPhone 5.
4. After awarding the project we expect to see a few possible design options for a single screen, until we can agree on a general direction. Once the general direction has been established, we will need all the screens submitted.
5. We expect several rounds of adjustments to the final design.

UX experience, and portfolio showing work in that field is a plus!

    I have few questions before starting to design the app :

    1) When you say simple app, do you have pop up questions in notification bar or on homescreen or lockscreen, etc. ? If not, you should add it.

    2) Do you want to change user experience or you had already set your mind on user journeys and pathways ?

    3) Confirm, that you are monetizing app via promotional content ? Ad screens between questions OR after & before quiz ?

    4) Can you name some of your competitor ?

    5) Do you have a logo or color scheme you want to pursue ?

    6) Is the project just 100% visual, or can I add or subtract few screens or elements ?

    I'll be uploading a mockup screen for ideation, will start working fast after resolution to the queries. Hopefully it will help rest of the designers.

      1. There is going to be a few pop ups. Probably not more than 2. One for marking questions the user got wrong, you can see that on one of the screens.

      2. UX can be changed if you have a better idea. 3. Monetizing via In App Purchase. No promo content, i.e. no ads. 4. If you search for USA Immigration Test in the App Store you will see them all. 5. Color scheme is up to the designer, but the flag colors would be great however I doubt it will look good. 6. Hmmm not sure what you mean by visual? Please explain. Thanks!

    Hello, I'm an instructional designer and designing an intuitive interface that keeps adult learning in mind is not an issue. However, I want to be transparent and ask if it would be allowed for me to design and upon approval outsource the conversion to your preferred format type.
