Contest Brief

Hi there, I am doing a competition for the design of a logo for my new business venture.

I would like a very professional but simple looking logo for my business using only black and white colours.

The company is a engraving company, engraving codes and words onto traffolyte labels for mainly the electrical industry, e.g. electrical panels etc.

I would like to make sure the logo is easy to engrave out so I can out it on all/most of my products easily, but also want it to look good and catch peoples eye.

I had a few ideas myself which I will attach below, but I am more than happy to see complete different ideas so be free and create it how you think will look good, because at the end of the day I am not a logo designer!

However if you like how ive done mine then you can stick to around the same but improved.

I would like the include the name, The Labelling Lab.
A sub heading somewhere saying, Engraving Specialists.
And then also include a engraving tool somewhere kicking up some dust like on the images attached, to show the customers what the company actually does. you can sort of see where im coming from with this on my logos I tried to design myself.
