Contest Brief

We are an indie team of game developers currently planning to make a mobile game with the title "Caveman Olympics". The game will be about pre-historic people having some crazy sports competition. In this contest we want people to offer ideas of what the sporting competitions ("minigames") can be in this game.

Please submit 1 idea of a minigame per entry. I'll eventually appoint several of them as winners (maybe 15-20) and am ready to pay $30 FOR EACH such entry. So, if you submit many such minigame ideas you can earn a MULTIPLE of $30, e.g. with 4 good ideas you will earn $120, with 10 good ideas you will earn $300. One of the entries will be chosen as winner, other entries I'll buy as runner-ups. Only concepts I pay for will be used in the game.

The game is singleplayer with local multiplayer mode for up to 4 people, no online multiplayer. You don't need to think about the meta-game (how the player will progress, what the monetization will be, any game modes etc) - that we will design ourselves. We need ideas for the actual content - the competitions themselves, the "minigames".

Please note that local multiplayer on the same screen means that either 1) players play in turns, passing the device to each other after they complete their turn or 2) all players simultaneously tapping on the screen. Not all devices support double- or triple-swipe, so if it's multiple players engaging with the screen at the same time then these should be taps only and at most 1 swipe at a time. Also understand that, with players all tapping at the same time, the key design challenge is that the game can't know which player did the tap which the game currently registers. And also these local-multipalyer games are "full-information" games where player 1 can't do anything without player 2 seeing it since they are both potentially looking at the screen at all times.

For each minigame you suggest, we need its singleplayer and local-multiplayer version - these can be quite different, with different winning conditions. For the single-player version the question is "when does the player win and when does the player lose?" For the local-multiplayer version the question is "how is the winner determined?"

Please feel free to draw pictures to illustrate what you have in mind. This helps the most, compared to wordy descriptions.

Note: there is a vaguely similar game from the 80s: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caveman_Ughlympics You may not re-use its minigames or suggest anything that's way too similar to those or could be considered a rip-off.

I'm generally ok if you take well known mechanics (like, dunno, Flappy Bird) and modify them but these aren't as likely to become winners as fresh, new concepts. Also, it would be best if the mechanics are tied to pre-historic context and aren't just generic stuff re-skinned into pre-historic setting. Think of what existed or is associated with that era: clubs, rocks, saberfang tigers, dinosaurs, caves, camp fires etc.

You can write in Russian or German if that's more convenient to you.
