Contest Brief

I'm a climate action supporter who wants an illustrator to draw a black and white, newspaper style, single image cartoon that shows a teenage girl with large muscles sprinting towards the try line in a ruby union game between the All Greens and the All Greeds. The muscular, teenage girl is an All Green rugby union superstar who has repeatedly used the Maori sidestep during her unstoppable run towards the try line which is marked 'SAFE CLIMATE FUTURE'. Behind her, lying flat on the ground, are several large, male opposition All Greed defenders who she flattened on her run using the Maori sidestep (In rugby the term 'Maori sidestep' means an attacking player who charges through and tramples defending players rather than trying to run around them). On the faces, chests and stomachs of those fallen All Greed defending players, lying on the ground behind her, are stud marks of her football boots which is visual evidence that she 'Maori sidestepped' them.

Here's the rest - 5. In the upper left or upper right corner of the cartoon is an angel resting on a cloud looking down and vigorously applauding the school girl as she Maori sidesteps her way to the try line (On one of the angel's wings is the name 'Lomu'). 6. Most of the 8 billion crowd are wildly cheering the school girls unstoppable run towards the try line with one member cheering 'Go Greta'. 7. On the try line are in large capital letters are the words 'SAFE CLIMATE FUTURE'. 8. The caption at the bottom of the cartoon says "Unstoppable'

Here are the guideline - 1. The 16 year old schoolgirl is about 150 am tall and her All Greed opponents are built like gorillas and are 200 cm or more in height. 2. The Scoreboard shows 'All Green 0 v All Greed 0' and 'Todays Attendance - 8 Billion'. 3. The scoreboard clock shows 1 minute remains till full-time. 4. The ball being carried by the 16 year old school girl under her arm is the shape of a sphere with some of the continents showing (ie she is carrying the world under her arm as she smashes her way through All Greed defenders using the Maori Sidestep). What I'm after is sometimes called a 'political cartoon' as it's a drawing in a newspaper that makes a visual statement about an important public issue. I want the caption of the cartoon you draw to simply say at the bottom 'Unstoppable'. The greatest attacking player in rugby union history was New Zealand All Black legend Jonah Lomu. Due to his amazing speed and strength he was also the games greatest ever exponent of the Maori sidestep. Here's a link to a vide clip showing a famous example of Lomu using the Maori sidestep to go through the final defending player, Mike Catt, in the New Zealand v England semi-final in the 1995 Rugby Union World Cup semi-final. You can see Lomu's Maori sidestep at the 25 second time point in this video clip - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0NLC3uk5xs
