3) I want something innovative and striking
4) Something that's going to get people thinking or something that's going to really wow

Tell us a little bit about your company or product and What type of product or service do you offer?:

Syreeta Rose is a personal make-up artistry, skincare service and cosmetic brand. We provide make-up for brides, fashion, editorials, theatre, television and film. We offer a range of natural skin and body products alongside our premium line of cosmetics.

If you had 30 seconds to describe your business or product to a stranger in an elevator, what would you say?:

We are a Make-up service, Skincare and Education company who provide products made from naturally derived ingredients. Our products are packaged using environmentally sustainable resources. We support community led projects and work together with local producers to offer fair trade prices. Education and empowerment are important to us. Therefore, we work with training organisations and individuals with a passion for the industry and a desire for change.

Please describe your target audience or market:

Our target audience is the man or women with disposable income but with very little time. They are in their late 30s and have been using the same make-up techniques and cosmetics for a number of years. They are unsure of what to do with their current skincare and make-up routine and cannot necessarily relate to the images on Instagram or todays ‘celebrity blogger’. This target audience is both socially and environmentally aware. They are conscious of what ingredient’s goes into their body an interest to make a positive difference to society and the environment. This typical customer, thinks deeper in terms of where they are spending their money. Desiring an alternative to what is on offer by the present large scale conglomerates like YSL and L’Oréal who dominate the market. Although the typical Syreeta Rose customer wants a more personalised and local feel to their products and make-up service, they still expect a high end, quality look throughout the brand.

Design Guidelines

Tell us a little bit about your web design project...What are the primary reasons for this design/redesign?: A logo is needed for social media and the website. In future a logo will be required for the packaging of our cosmetics and beauty products.

Colour Scheme:
-----------------------------------------------
Black and white. Rose pink, White, Chocolate brown, Orange, Cream, Mint green.

Inspirational Logos (See attached samples):

Logos which give inspiration are: Liz Earl, Shea Butter Cottage, MAC, Busaba (see attached picture) and the logo from ‘The Local Honey Man’ based in Walthamstow.

Adinkra symbols are an influences that can also be looked at as a feature to the logo design.
