Contest Brief

A poster-size image of The Firework Neuron (see image) with the branches colored in a bright, saturated, child-like primary and secondary color scheme similar to the previous competition viewable at:

https://www.freelancer.com/contest/Parthenon-for-Toddlers-1066037.html

The final image should be ready to upload and print via any commercial poster printing service (fedex, office depot, etc) and should retain the precision and detail of the base image when printed up to 48"x48" size.

The concept is to give the toddlers a visual experience where the image itself carries the meaning to be learned, rather than being symbols (like words or numbers or animals etc) which they may not understand and likely cannot meaningfully map to whatever the symbols are meant to convey information about. So for this image, it is the precision and complexity of the branching which conveys life's use of mandlebrot mathematics to fill space. For the poster to achieve that aim, the coloring must highlight the precision and complexity of the branching using colors which will attract the attention of toddlers to those aspects of the image.

Employer Feedback

“Partha M. created a beautiful product, exactly to the design specifications which even I did not fully understand. The result was a perfect image of an idea which I had only partially discovered in conceiving of the project. A+ work.”

Partha - thank you for letting me know. A highly detailed version for 48x48 at 300dpi is exactly what I'm hoping for. So far there are a number of good ideas and some that are very nearly exactly what I'm looking for, but nothing has jumped out as the obvious winner yet.

I am drawing entire artwork in very large version then I'll show you several color variations. Since each line is editable you can alter whatever you want. Thanks

Anton - yes, the original file is too small to print that large. I'm hopeful this can be fixed. I like the colors you selected for #6 but the fluffiness of the deep branchings is lost.

there a number of great ideas here. remember, this needs to print without artifact at 48"x48" so the lines may need to be sharpened. So far the closest are #1,4,5,8 and 12, with 4,5 and 8 looking the best.

Maybe you're right, but most of it is your 576 × 514 attached image.. This can not physically be printed 48"x48" without artifacts. You did not give a feedback to #6. I could easily fix everything: colors, shapes, whatever. I have a file that will print 48"x48" without artifacts. Have you read the description? Thank you
