Contest Brief

I am looking for a logo for my pizza restaurant. The pizza restaurant name is "Golden Crust". We specialize in Indian Pizzas. The colors to be used are yellow(for gold) and red. Please use your creativity to come up with some cool design.

My designer has come up with attached design. I like the concept but I feel the design looks kind of dull. So either create your own logo and make this logo better.
