Contest Brief

Facebook launched a new digital currency wallet called Calibra, and just last week, it was accused of stealing the logo of Current, an online banking company.

In a comparison posted by the startup bank on Twitter (https://twitter.com/current/status/1141459729505562626), it shows that Calibra's monochromatic simple tilde mark within a circle logo has a striking resemblance with that of Current's.

Current's CEO said in an interview that Facebook ripped off the logo for its new subsidiary since both logos were created in the same San Francisco design firm.

      Apparently for Freelancer.com the word "guaranteed"does not mean anything. I asked the chat support and they said that "the system chooses randomly if you are qualify, and it does not care about having 2 3 or 4 stars"....that invisible rule is not published aparently , and explains why they keep the rest of the money :) #garanteedmyass

    This contest was supposed to be guaranteed, and organized by Freelancer ... apparently concludes like the majority of the contests here... in nothing , they made thousand of designer to work free for just advertising themself in social networks... bravo

    Dear CH, Now those who have been caught as exact copier with links proof should be asked to withdraw/eliminate their entries by them. Otherwise their should be a penalty imposed on them. In my opinion if some contest is not saled by contestholder not right to other participants to have sealed design .....but that is politique on freelancer to earn a money....Some how become the money is most inmortant than any rules and honors, etc. COMPLETE CHAOS!     Hello guys! Please assist the CONTEST HOLDER to show him or her the similarity of the entry which has got top rated one. This contest is not so called contest rather the contest holder is Freelancer.com authority. So be professional and loyal. Just think, for the similarity of CURRENT, facebook has been accused of stealing even it's not fully same design. So, this is more crucial contest ever in the Freelancer.com in terms of its value.       When design is copy - paste, that is plagiarism and eventually will bring a problem, but when idea and concept have similarity that is 2 different things...Please make a difference between this! Because some people in their quest to be liked or eliminate the competition overdo it!
