Contest Brief

Swiss Jazz Days is a Networking and Business event for the Jazz scene in Switzerland. It is an annual meeting of all the important players and stakeholders of the Swiss Jazz Scene. The event takes place for 2-3 days, and includes Industry meetings, gatherings, workshops, networking tools. The customers are musicians, promoters, organziers, labels, agents, journalists from switzerland in the field of jazz. We represent a contemporary and modern version of jazz music.

In this project I am looking for a Corporate Design (CD), a visual corporate identity that speaks to my customers. I need a logo, typography, a color scheme for a website, designs for social media channels (Logo and Headers for: FB, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin), a letter head and business cards.

Need delivery in *all* of these different formats: ai, pdf, jpg, png, eps, MS word template, Power Point template

I made a document with a collection of logos of companys, my company will work with. The ideal participant creates a corporate design, that uses the same visual lagnuage as these logos. The CD I am looking for matches with these logos and it looks great side to side to these logos. Please have a look at the document "02 examples.pdf"

As statet in the original contest description, this is not just about a logo, but about a complete Corporate Design. I need a typography, a 5 color scheme for my website, business card design and templates for Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

I invite all the designers who got a 3-star rating for the logo to enter step 2 in this contest and present the following:
- logo on dark and bright background
- typography
- 5 color scheme for website that matches the colors of the logo
- business card front and rear (details see below)
- templates for MS Word (see attached file)
- template for MS PowerPoint (see attached file)

Please create a new entry to the contest where you upload one slide for each part of the Corporate Design. Please use the order in the description above.

  I started a Q&A Section in the contest description. There I will post questions if I think this is a piece of Information, that is important to everybody. I will not make public any discussions on your personal design.
  
  Sometimes I have troubles to express myself in english very very precisely, then some questions appear. Therefore I made the Q&A section.

A little comment to all of you: Many have included "SJD" as in the logo. Please also think of other ways to represent my company. It does not have to include the three letters in the logo. It is just one of many possibilities!

Dear particiapants

Thank you all for taking part in this conest! i think there are many ideas, som I already like! I rated all the entries available so far and will now start to contact the designers who made my favourites designs. But please don't stop to make suggestions, the contest has just begun!

Please be aware, that it is not only a business event my company will be hosting, but also part of a very creative and contemporary scene. it still has to look very serîously, but it is not a financial business. it has to show some creativity!
