Contest Brief

I’m looking to replicate a design I like that I’ve seen to add to my line—the classic crew-neck sweatshirt—and need a fresh, original pattern or textured treatment applied to it. This project is strictly about that single garment; no logo work or full rebrand is required.

Scope
• Create 2–3 distinct, seamless pattern concepts suitable for screen-print or knit.
• Refine the chosen direction through up to two revision rounds.
• Present colour-way suggestions and placement mock-ups on a standard unisex crew-neck template.

Deliverables
• Final artwork as a repeat tile in layered AI or high-res PSD (300 dpi).
• Mock-up images (PNG/JPEG) showing the pattern on front, back, and sleeve views.
• Pantone colour call-outs and scale notes ready for the factory tech pack.

Acceptance Criteria
• Tile repeats flawlessly with no visible seams.
• Max six colours per design to keep production costs in check.
• Files open cleanly in Illustrator CC 2023.

With these assets in hand, I can move straight to sampling and production.
