Wire Transfer is the best way to withdraw your funds from your Freelancer.com account directly to your bank account. But this are only limited on some countries.

Try paypal, that seems pretty good, plus you can integrate with your site and they have an api which you could use.

The best thing ever is to use virtual cards service like EntroPay for example, and to make it more secure you can use PayPal or Skrill, and deposit or top-up these accounts by Debit Card (Physical Card issues by your local bank). So the service will have no access to your saving or current bank account.

To wrap up, If your card stolen, it is virtual with a pre-loaded amount of money, so not worries, if you PayPal stolen (rare case), it is linked with a Debit Card and not a Credit Card. so now you are totally secure.

That depends on a couple of things, one is volume, the second is how serious are you about your business? Paypal is awesome, however; they charge a much higher rate ( you pay for the "ease of transaction cost" which in reality is not always the most cost effective or easy to transfer funds to your bank account and manage cash flow and certainly not the most timely.
I would suggest bids by at least 3 Merchant reps, it is healthy to compare.
